About Mary-Ellen Rogers

Mary-Ellen is the Principal of Excellere, a health optimization and human capital management firm that combines innovative strategies to maximize wellness and productivity. Mrs. Rogers was the founder and former CEO of Work/Life Innovations, an Employee Assistance Program specializing in work/life resource & referral services to major corporations and hospitals for over 21 years, including Yale New Haven Health System, Bank One, McDonald's, Horizon Blue Cross, and ESPN, just to name a few. Under Mary-Ellen's direction the company was the first vendor ever to be named an Innovative Excellence Award Winner by The Alliance for Work Life Progress, an honor they received twice.

Prior to founding Work/Life Innovations, Mrs. Rogers, a social worker, was a Director of Staffing & Recruiting for The Travelers Insurance Company. She has spent many years as a Human Resource consultant, trainer and coach. Her diverse social work career includes management roles in home health care and child welfare. The Hartford Business Journal named Mrs. Rogers one of 2006's Eight Remarkable Women in Business.

She serves on the Board of Trustees of Providence College, the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for the Advancement of Catholic Schools, and the Executive Board of Women Executives in Healthcare.
